Penis Envy #6 Mushroom Spores

Penis Envy #6 Mushroom Spores is a hybrid psilocybe cubensis strain – a cross of Penis Envy and Texas Cubensis.  The strain was first cultivated by Roger Rabbit, a veteran user of the magic mushroom forum “The Shroomery”. The aim was to produce a strain that had the high potency of Penis Envy, but that would create more spores.

Of the hybridizing, Roger Rabbit has said:

“A single sector fruiting isolate of PE and another of TEX were placed on a Petri dish with rattlesnake venom added to the agar. The snake venom helped the two dikaryotic strains share genetic information to form a third sector, which was labeled PE6.”

Unlike the parent PE strain, PE6 has larger caps that open fully. The caps are a caramel-brown color darkening towards the center. The stipe is long, thick and curvy and ivory in color.

Cultivators of PE6, note that it is slow to colonize. Like the parent strain, Penis Envy, it also has a long growth cycle of up to 6 weeks. Cultivators also report a high yield with their first flush and a substantially lower yield with subsequent flushes.  Overall this strain is not considered beginner-friendly as it is tough to cultivate due to it being highly susceptible to contamination.

Penis Envy #6 shares a similar high potency as Penis Envy. Users report intense physical and mental effects. The trip is good for journeys aimed towards self-exploration and processing of internal struggles. Euphoria is present with feelings of comfort and happiness. The trip is also accompanied by hallucinogenic visuals.
