Hawaiian Mushroom Spores
PES Hawaiian Mushroom Spores is a strain of the psilocybe cubensis genus. Surprisingly, this mushroom is not in fact from Hawaii. No known psilocybe cubensis mushrooms naturally grow in Hawaii at all. So where did it get its name? A vendor, known as Pacifica Exotica Spores (PES) was the first to offer this strain, and the company’s headquarters were based in Honolulu, Hawaii, hence the somewhat misleading name.
Among cultivators and consumers alike, PES Hawaiian is a very well-known and popular strain. It is a very aesthetically pleasing looking mushroom, as often remarked by cultivators. It has a cinnamon-colored cap that lightens towards the edges, flecked with white like many Psilocybe Cubensis strains. It has a stem of medium thickness, yellow-white in color. The partial veil on the stem slowly blackens as the mushroom matures, releasing spores that discolor the partial veil.
The mushroom colonizes well and produces an abundance of dense fruit. They grow well in warmer temperatures, a callback to their naturally sub-tropical habitat. Large yields can be expected for 3-4 flushes.
In terms of potency, PES Hawaiian achieves a medium-level strength. The hallucinogenic trip is reportedly vibrant and colorful. Users are filled with a sense of euphoria. “Body buzz” (bodily vibrations) may occur in some users. As this strain is not overly potent, it is suitable for beginner-level users. Although it may lead to feelings of inter-connectedness, it is also a more energizing strain. This makes it less applicable for spiritual or therapeutic use.
The cultivation of psilocybe cubensis is illegal in the USA. Our spores are for microscopic research and identification purposes only. The product contains a research solution of sterile water with mushroom spores in a 10ml Luer-Lok syringe. Included is an 18 gauge by 1.5-inch needle that twists onto the syringe.
